The Knowledge Management System is the only Learning Management System in South Africa that has been endorsed by the SA Board FOR People Practices (SABPP) – for a third time in a row!
As a leading learning platform, the Skypiom Knowledge Management System has again been endorsed by the SABPP, South Africa’s autonomous body for the standards and professional registration for the Human Resources profession.
The Knowledge Management System was vetted against stringent criteria, some of which included the following:
- ICT involvement and support;
- System and navigation;
- Client and learner needs;
- Quality management systems, recording and reporting;
- Implementation and monitoring;
- Learner feedback; and
- Roles and functions.
As a result of the endorsement, Skypiom’s Knowledge Management System is able to meet the requirements pertaining to the mode of delivery described in the “Open Learning Policy Framework for Post-School Education and Training” that was gazetted by the Department of Higher Education and Training early in 2017. Meeting these requirements and standards aligns the Knowledge Management System with the requirements set out by the QCTO and SAQA.
